Upright Noble Zen

Upright Noble Zen is a small community of practitioners dedicated to supporting each other in Zen practice.  Dana Kojun Lederhos provides direction for this group.

Our main offering is the Sunday Evening Program. This might be the best one to start with if your schedule allows.

Kojun grew up in Anchorage and returned recently after living and training for fourteen years at Great Vow Zen Monastery in Oregon.  She is a Soto Zen lineage holder and a member of both the Soto Zen Buddhist Association and the White Plum Asanga.

Zen Buddhism is about waking up.  It is not necessary to “be a Buddhist” in order to practice with us.  This journey of waking up is for anyone of any religious tradition.

Newcomers are always welcome.
